The purpose of “The Regular’s Glass” is to pay a tribute to the special customer-restaurant relationship. Consequently, same time helping Sweden’s restaurants through a tough time. A unique glass designed for each restaurant is sold to the highest bidder with all revenue from the auction going to the specific restaurant.

”We want to do as much as we can to support the hospitality sector. That’s why we launched our biggest restaurant campaign ever,” said Peter Hammarstedt, MD of Carlsberg Sweden.

With the Stammisglaset, Carlsberg Sweden produces unique beer glasses in one piece per tavern and sell them at auction to the highest bidder. By winning the tender, people can support their favourite place and at the same time get a glass personalised with their name ready and waiting for their next visit. Carlsberg Sweden doubles the amount that all auctions collect, up to a total of 1 million SEK for the campaign. The amount is then divided equally among all participating restaurants.

“Many people in the restaurant business are having a hard time right now. We do not know exactly how the future will look like. But we know that we can all make a difference,” said Hammarstedt.

The glasses will be delivered to the participating restaurants in mid-August, one per restaurant, accompanied by an ad campaign across TV channels, magazines and across social media channels.
